Office Aide inc.

Office Aide inc. (formerly A-One Mailing Service) was established in 1963. Carolyn purchased the business in January 1969. At
that time Office Aide was housed in a 1,000 square foot building in the 500 block of West Douglas, before the area became
known as the Delano District. Our current 10,000 square foot building conveniently located at Kellogg and Washington serves
us and our customers well.

Carolyn Zackula Tschetter, Owner/President

Starting out as a female business owner at age 23 was a huge challenge considering that working at Office Aide was the first real job I ever had. When I was a teenager, my older brother and I earned money by cleaning used brick at our dad's lumber yard for a penny a brick. THat experience taught us both that you have to work hard for your money. My brother recently retired after 48 years at Kansas Truck Equipment where he began at age 21. My younger brother has worked for me for almost 12 years.

It has been and continues to be a richly rewarding experience over the past forty plus years. I have enjoyed working with and becoming friends with many of our customers and vendors. I have witnessed many changes in technology in the USPS and the direct mail and printing industry and have truly enjoyed the industry that "chose" me.

I have two cats at home that used to be mascots at Office Aide until we got Norman (Bates). We lost Norman in Febuary of 2011 and now have another black and white kitty who we named "Zippy". When I retire, I fully intend to get a dog to round out my animal house. I also have 4 granddaughters and one grandson and one great grandson. In my spare time I enjoy reading, gardening, and photography.
